Our membership often requests information on legislative issues that may impact individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. As a result and in support of our organization's goal to "provide accurate and current information, resources and support for people with Down syndrome, their families and the community," we are passing along this information to assist our families in educating themselves about various issues at a local, state, and federal level. The Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas believes by providing this information, each family will be able to make decisions based upon their personal beliefs and situation.
