One of the greatest challenges faced by adults with Down syndrome is how to stay involved and productive in the community after completing school. One of the ways to accomplish this goal is through employment. Join us for this interactive workshop prepared with all your questions and concerns. Our panel will do their best to address the many aspects about employment opportunities and challenges for individuals with Down syndrome.
This panel is presented in conjunction with the Quarterly Meeting for Families of Adults with Down syndrome, but we encourage all parents of children ages 13 and older to attend! New changes and programs will be discussed, so
even if you are familiar with past employment options, this session will still present you with new information. Please RSVP to Jennifer Ford by
phone at (214) 267-1374 or via e-mail
at dallasdsg@sbcglobal.net.
