Lights on the Farm for Families of Teens with Down syndrome Ages 13-17

Free for teens with Down syndrome
$5 each for immediate family members

Teens ages 13+ and their immediate family members are invited to join together at the Heritage Farmstead Museum for Lights on the Farm. The historic Plano farmstead will be transformed into a delightful winter wonderland with more than one million lights and numerous animated holiday displays. The all-outdoor event features a quarter-mile trail through the property that includes a 20-foot Christmas tree, visits with Santa, tasty treats such as hot cocoa, kettle corn and make your own s’mores for purchase. The Farmstead opens at 6:00 pm and the last entry granted at 9:00 pm.

Discounted tickets through the DSG are free for individuals with Down syndrome and $5 for immediate family members. Each family will also receive a complimentary vist with Santa. Additional farmstead activities, treats, and merchandise will be available for purchase onsite. Please note that this is a family event; childcare and peer volunteers will NOT be available for teen drop off at this particular event.
