We invite individuals with Down syndrome ages 5–17 and their families to join us for a fun-filled pool party at the Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center! The pool features exciting amenities including waterslides, water basketball, volleyball and a splash pad. Youth and teens can enjoy the outdoor pool alongside their families and connect with other members of the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas.
DSG will provide cheese and pepperoni pizza, along with drinks. If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, please plan to bring your own food.

$5 for each additional family member
Tom Muehlenbeck Pool Rules:
Only U.S. Coast Guard–approved flotation devices are permitted. Inflatable devices (such as water wings or infant rafts) are not allowed.
Dive toys and soft, Nerf-style balls may be used in leisure pools during open swim. Swim noodles and rafts are not permitted
Swim diapers are required for children who are not fully toilet trained.
Only swim diapers are permitted in the pool (available for purchase at the front desk).
Plastic swim masks that cover both the mouth and nose are not permitted.
Monofins, mermaid tails, or any fins that restrict individual leg movement are not allowed.
Pop-up tents and free-standing umbrellas are not allowed.
For children under age 7: one adult must be within arm’s reach and actively supervising at all times. Children swimming unattended will be asked to sit out until supervised.
Space is limited and registration is required by Tuesday, June 23, or until the event is full.
Please note that this is not a drop off event and you must register all children, siblings, parents/caregivers that plan to attend
