The Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome (Crnic Institute) and Boys Town National Research Hospital (Boys Town) are partnering to offer FREE hearing tests as part of their Hearing and Balance in Down Syndrome Research Study. Participants will receive their hearing test results and be part of one of the largest Down syndrome biobanks in the world: The Human Trisome Project (HTP).

Up to 80% of people with Down syndrome can have hearing loss during their lifetime. The Hearing and Balance in Down Syndrome Research Study will help scientists improve hearing and balance healthcare for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages.
The HTP aims to significantly increase the speed of Down syndrome research and the understanding of associated medical conditions, such as leukemia and Alzheimer’s disease. Top scientists and clinical researchers use HTP samples and data to study Down syndrome to make new discoveries.
Compensation is provided. This opportunity is available in both English and Spanish.
