Session #1 : 8:30 am - 9:45 am (Ages 8 - 12)
Session #2 : 10:15 am - 11:15 am (Ages 5 - 7)
Session #3 : 11:45 am – 1:00 pm (Age 13 & above)
Session #4 : 2:15 pm - 3:30 pm (Ages 8 - 12)
Session #5 : 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm (Age 13 & above)

Camp Overview:
iCan Dance uses a specialized instructional program, along with trained staff and dedicated volunteers, to enable individuals with disabilities to learn a formal dance routine. Dancers attend one session each day for five consecutive days, where they learn choreography while being accompanied, supported, and encouraged by volunteer buddies. In addition to learning the routine, each dancer has the opportunity for self-expression as they form a unique team with their volunteer and showcase their individual personality and style.

The goal of iCan Dance is to teach individuals with disabilities dance moves that come together in a choreographed routine, culminating in an on-stage performance. This goal is achieved in a safe, supportive, inclusive, and fun environment with the assistance of volunteers. The sense of accomplishment gained through this experience helps build confidence and self-assurance, opening the door to growth and success in many other areas of life.

Dancer Requirements:
• Be at least 5 years of age at the start of camp
• Have a diagnosed disability. All abilities are welcome!

Registration:

Registrants must complete the iCan Dance DALLAS Registration Form in its entirety and pay the camp fee ($150) before registration can be processed. Submission of this registration and payment does NOT guarantee a spot in the iCan Dance program.

During the month of March, priority registration will be given to members of the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas. You will be contacted within 2-4 weeks of your submission to confirm your eligibility, enrollment, and designated time slot.

Refunds:
If your loved one does not receive a spot in the iCan Dance program, the $150 fee will be refunded, and they will be placed on the waitlist.

Please note there are no refunds once your registration has been confirmed unless there is a waiting list for your session. No refunds will be honored after July 23, as there will be limited time to fill the spot with another dancer.

Parent Orientation:
A parent orientation session will be held prior to camp on Sunday, July 26, from 2:00-2:30 pm.
